Wedding films
19 september, 2017

Anna and Markus, a really stunning couple with good taste who loves to compete and challenge each other. That was what characterized their wedding day. This was the kind of wedding that was just laughing, playing, joking and dancing all day and night long. But even though the serious part was not shown as much as it is in some other weddings, I know it was there. I could see the thankfulness, the love, the humbleness through the laughs and the jokes. People who are alike and who just develops side by side and who never stops evolving. A really motivating set of people.

The wedding was shot as a Due Film and Photography collaboration and you can see Fridas photos from the day by pressing here.

A big thank you to Anna and Markus for having us and to Swedens best wedding coordinator Johanna Kajson who got us booked.

Isabella & Zahron – Tuscany, Italy – September 22nd, 2018
Isabella and Zahron had the most amazing wedding weekend at the fantastic Borgo Scopeto Relais, outside of Siena in Italy. This castle is the perfect place for a wedding and I feel humbled about having the chance to film a wedding here. Isabella, from Sweden, and Zahron, who grew up in Canada, met in Hong Kong, were they both lived and still live together. Their many friends from all over their world is their family in Hong Kong and you could really tell during the weekend that this is a very close group of people that really love each other and really knows how to party. The ceremony took place between the olive trees under the very ho ...

Gulistan & Maitham – Märsta – April 7th, 2018
Guli contacted me in August 2017 and wanted me to film their Kurdish-Arabic wedding. Since I have no boundaries I immediately said yes, despite the fact I knew nothing about traditional Kurdish or Arabic weddings. As the months went by and we arrived at wedding week I was actually panicking. Not that I would ever show it to the couple, but I was really nervous that I would mess things up, because that's what you often do the first time you do something. But no. The second I walked in the door at Gulis sisters neighbours house I felt like home. Nurcan, the sister, was so open, warm, supporting and welcoming and Gulistan showed close to z ...

Servah & Carl – Winterviken, Stockholm – July 7th, 2018
This bubbly and fantastic person named Servah called me in the spring and asked if I could film her wedding. She had this energy that went right through the phone and into my heart. I could hear her excitement and how she just couldn't wait to get married to her Carl. Of course I was gonna film their wedding. We started out at the classic Hotel Drottning Kristina in the absolute center of Stockholm. Outside there were lots and lots of people, all dressed in yellow and blue. It was the day that Sweden was gonna play England in the quarterfinal in the football World Cup. And I was missing it. Again. But what the heck. As soon as I went in ...
