Carin & Henrietta – Norrköping, Sweden – October 13th, 2018

Wedding films
28 december, 2019

From the day Henrietta booked me for their wedding, I knew this was gonna be a very special day. She told me a lot about her and Carin, about their personalities and their life together. So I went into this day knowing it would be relaxed and easy-going. But my expectations were outdone. From the moment I sat my foot in the hair saloon where both of them were getting ready (in separate parts, so they wouldn’t see each other before their first look, how cute is that?) I felt like a friend with a camera. Meeting Carin, who I hadn’t had any contact with before the wedding and feeling her warmth and nervousness about wearing a dress, something she never does. And how amazing she looked after putting that black dress on. How she was practically amazed by herself. All while Henrietta was all bubbly nervous, happy and gorgeous, surrounded by her beautiful sisters.

From that, through a wonderful first look, to karaoke in the car, to portraits and smoke bombs and crashing my drone into a tree, to a fantastic ceremony in a fantastic church (where I tripped over seven chairs and made the whole ceremony stop for a second), amazing song performances in the church, to a best man popping the confetti canon right down on his feet, arriving to the reception in a helicopter, more smoke boms and then finish off with a dinner with heart warming speeches, a saxophonist, a magical first dance and I party I will never forget. I have never before (or after) seen so many people dance at a wedding party. Like, literally, EVERYONE danced. And there where shoes hanging from the roof.

From that day on Carin and Henrietta are my friends. They have been models at mine and Michaela Zabels workshops, they have been to a great party at my house and we write each other almost every week. From clients to friends. Friends for life. I love them.

Ann-Sofie & Peter – Träslövsläge – May 20th, 2017
What can I say about Ann-Sofie and Peter, that will truly and fairly explain them and their love for each other? I slipped into this wedding quite late, when the bride won a competition where I was the prize. They then choose to buy some extra hours for me to cover more of their day and I'm really thankful they did.  I went to Varberg on the Swedish west coast on a sunny and warm Saturday morning with my friend and assistant Matilda. We arrived to Hårporten in the center of Varberg at 9.30 when the bride, called Anse, was in the middle of getting her makeup done while Peter had the last touch of his hair. I could feel som tension in both o ...

Cecilia & Gregory – Norrviken, Båstad – June 2nd, 2018
Cecilia and Greg. What can I say. I was contacted just a couple of months before the wedding, by their photographer - the fantastic Therese Winberg. They wanted film. So, long story short: Cecilia is born in Sweden, with Swedish parents, but moved to Switzerland as a toddler. Fast forward til grown age she meets this guy that tries to get her to drink coffee with him for like two years before she finally says yes. And from that moment on (pun intended, cause they had Shania Twains From this moment on perfor ...

Cecilia & André – Gothenburg – October 28th, 2017
Cecilia and André. Two doctors, that shares the love for good food and wine, fun friends and family. Cecilia with roots from and a childhood in Brazil and André with Swedish and Finnish roots made a lovely mix for a wedding party at River Café in Gothenburg. Cecilia and André. Two grownups with the love of two teenagers who just fell in love and believe nothing in the world can stop them. In this case I absolutely believe that's true. The love these two show each other is a rare thing, I think. I think the word that most describes it is: gratitude. That is at least the feeling I got from watching them together and apart. That they are like ...
