Caroline & Joakim – Norrvikens Trädgårdar, Sweden – August 1st, 2018

Wedding films
3 mars, 2019

So… This wedding was a true fairytale. Not even joking. And therefore the choice of music. It’s just right.

But let’s start from the beginning.

In the end of July I got an email. It basically said ”We know this is a long shot, but we’re getting married on Wednesday next week and our videographer can’t make it. Is there any way you can?”. And well, let’s be honest, the timing was not the best. I was leaving for vacation in Germany the day after and I had just been away doing three weddings in one week. But of course I wanted to help them. So I said yes. And not until the day before the wedding everything was settled and I was so happy to go to film a wedding at the fantastic Norrvikens Trädgårdar again. This place is made for weddings, I can tell you that.

On the wedding day I sat in my car and drove the two hours from my home to Båstad and the rain was pouring down the entire time. ”This will be interesting” I thought. But the second I sat my foot down at the long walkway up to Norrvikens the sun came through the clouds and the rest of the day was sunny, warm and fantastic.

Never could I have imagined that this couple that I booked only the day before and I would get along so well. As you will see in the film, Caroline is the kind of person that smiles with her whole essence. She is just pure joy. Absolutely fantastic. So it’s easy to understand Joakims reaction when he sees Caroline on their first look. He cried and so did I.

Oh, did I mention crying? Ahh. Well. Wait ’til you see the groomsmen in church. My God. I get teared up just by thinking about it.

Anyway. The only bad thing about this wedding is that I only was there for seven hours. I wish I could have covered the whole day of this fantastic wedding. The couple, the friends, the families. The music. It was all just a dream come true. And a happily ever after.

Enjoy watching.

Sarah & Simon – Rosenhanska Magasinet – August 19th, 2017
It's 2008 and I move to a new city to play handball. As my teammate I get a 17 year old girl named Sarah. I am 23 at the time, so we're not really at the same place in life. But still we are. She has a hard time figuring out who to be and how to be it. So do I. But in all of this we guide each other. I know she thinks that I was the one helping her, but she helped me as much. Some would say there was a blind leading a blind, but I chose to see it as that we took each others hands and took baby steps forwards in the dark, with only the light from a match to show us the way. I would call it brave. In 2009, I think it was, she met Simon. H ...

Anna & Markus – Åhus – June 17th, 2017
Anna and Markus, a really stunning couple with good taste who loves to compete and challenge each other. That was what characterized their wedding day. This was the kind of wedding that was just laughing, playing, joking and dancing all day and night long. But even though the serious part was not shown as much as it is in some other weddings, I know it was there. I could see the thankfulness, the love, the humbleness through the laughs and the jokes. People who are alike and who just develops side by side and who never stops evolving. A really motivating set of people. The wedding was shot as a Due Film and Photography collaboration and yo ...

Åsa & Pontus – Örenäs Slott – June 24th, 2017
So, I got the question last year, from the best wedding coordinator in Sweden, if I was free on "Midsommar", which is Swedens most celebrated weekend during the summer. She was planning the wedding of a football player, playing for the National team of Sweden and his girlfriend and they wanted a videographer. I was so new, had only done one wedding when I got the question, so maybe I should have said no. This was about to be a big wedding. But "no" is not my thing. "Yes" is. A few months before the wedding, the groom wanted to make a film with his speech, cause he knew that he wouldn't be able to "hold it together" during the wedding recep ...
