Parshin & Eric – Château la Durantie, France – July 24th, 2018

Fancy a French château wedding? Well, here it is.
In the end of July, on a Tuesday, Parshin got her Eric at one of the most beautiful locations I’ve been to.
Château la Durantie is probably a dream place for anyone at any moment – to just stand in front of it is a breathtaking experience. And inside there are so much history and fantastic details to enjoy.
This is where Parshin and Eric had their preparations. Parshin with her bubbly bridesmaids in one part of the château and Eric in the other. Every detail was thought through. From the macarons, to the love letter and string quartet playing at the ceremony.

Starting with a somewhat traditional Swedish ceremony outside, afterwards everyone entered the château to witness the Persian ceremony indoors. Two cultures meeting is always a great thing to watch and this day was no exception. Watching the grooms mother take on the Persian traditions warmed my heart.

After a beautiful portrait session in the small village Lanouaille nearby the reception took place in the garden outside of the château and it was lovely. Many beautiful speeches and a lot of tears followed by a lovely first dance, party, sparklers, knife dance (Persian tradition), cake cutting, more party and then pool party summed this wonderful day up. My head was almost exploding with all the impressions I got during the day, but it was so worth it. Just see for yourselves.

Location: Château la Durantie.
Hair and makeup: Alison Jenner.
Wedding dress: Pronovias.
Photographer: Linda-Pauline Pehrsdotter Arousell.
Music: Hounds – Be My Everything & The Light The Heat – Falling For You.

Jelena & Nicola – Bari – June 9th, 2017
Jelena and Nicola, just wow. These two people know how to have a good time. Seriously. This wedding was fun from the first moment to the last one. In Sweden, where I'm from, weddings are often traditional - sometimes with a little twist - but still traditional. Well, maybe this wedding was traditional Italian style, but it was completely new to me. I loved how the band started playing directly after the first course - people were dancing, tossing the bride and groom in the air, how the basilica was beyond every other church in Sweden, how 1/3 of the wedding stopped at a gas station on the way from the ceremony to the reception to dance ...

Caroline & Joakim – Norrvikens Trädgårdar, Sweden – August 1st, 2018
So... This wedding was a true fairytale. Not even joking. And therefore the choice of music. It's just right. But let's start from the beginning. In the end of July I got an email. It basically said "We know this is a long shot, but we're getting married on Wednesday next week and our videographer can't make it. Is there any way you can?". And well, let's be honest, the timing was not the best. I was leaving for vacation in Germany the day after and I had just been away doing three weddings in one week. But of course I wanted to help them. So I said yes. And not until the day before the wedding everything was settled and I was so happy ...

Jenny & Johan – Säfsen – January 27th, 2018
Jenny wrote to me just a few weeks before the wedding, not having very high hopes that I could film their wedding. But at least she wanted to ask, she wrote. But even with a short notice we made things happen and I am so glad we did! Jenny is fireworks. She is one of the most pure people I've met. Her laughter and her kindness is heartwarming. Johan says when he describes her that "she is caring and always makes sure everyone else is taken care of" and that is exactly my experience of her. Johan, on the other hand, is what you would see if you took a dictionary and looked up the word "calm". (Or if you google it, it's 2018 now...) He is ...
