Camilla & Albert – Marstrand – September 9th, 2017

Wedding films
7 december, 2017

My best friend, since almost 20 years, was about to get married. They HAD to have a wedding film, and I HAD to do it, but since I was one of her bridesmaids I couldn’t film it. So what to do? Easy. One of my other best friend has assisted me on three weddings this year, so I handed over the recording part for her and then took care of the editing myself. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was not easy. Not at all.

A friend you’ve done everything with, shared your toughest and happiest times with. To witness her and her husbands love for each other, a kind of relief to officially, in front of the whole world, be one anothers. To see her deep breaths, her almost invisible smiling while biting her lip, her tears and her high and wide laughters. To see him looking at her with the kind of love that is endless, bottomless and without any terms, how he tries to hold back his tears (without succeeding) and how they releases all the tension they have ever had and just be free. I can’t even begin to tell you how that feels. If you have ever been a part of a wedding with people you really love – you just now.

This day was not easy. There were obstacles that we don’t need to write about here, if you read between the lines, or if you were there – you know. But what this day was, was real. Authentic, true and real life. And I hope that is what this film shows. The true and loving wedding day och Camilla and Albert – two of the finest people I know.

Enjoy!

Caroline & Joakim – Norrvikens Trädgårdar, Sweden – August 1st, 2018
So... This wedding was a true fairytale. Not even joking. And therefore the choice of music. It's just right. But let's start from the beginning. In the end of July I got an email. It basically said "We know this is a long shot, but we're getting married on Wednesday next week and our videographer can't make it. Is there any way you can?". And well, let's be honest, the timing was not the best. I was leaving for vacation in Germany the day after and I had just been away doing three weddings in one week. But of course I wanted to help them. So I said yes. And not until the day before the wedding everything was settled and I was so happy ...

Gulistan & Maitham – Märsta – April 7th, 2018
Guli contacted me in August 2017 and wanted me to film their Kurdish-Arabic wedding. Since I have no boundaries I immediately said yes, despite the fact I knew nothing about traditional Kurdish or Arabic weddings. As the months went by and we arrived at wedding week I was actually panicking. Not that I would ever show it to the couple, but I was really nervous that I would mess things up, because that's what you often do the first time you do something. But no. The second I walked in the door at Gulis sisters neighbours house I felt like home. Nurcan, the sister, was so open, warm, supporting and welcoming and Gulistan showed close to z ...

Jenny & Johan – Säfsen – January 27th, 2018
Jenny wrote to me just a few weeks before the wedding, not having very high hopes that I could film their wedding. But at least she wanted to ask, she wrote. But even with a short notice we made things happen and I am so glad we did! Jenny is fireworks. She is one of the most pure people I've met. Her laughter and her kindness is heartwarming. Johan says when he describes her that "she is caring and always makes sure everyone else is taken care of" and that is exactly my experience of her. Johan, on the other hand, is what you would see if you took a dictionary and looked up the word "calm". (Or if you google it, it's 2018 now...) He is ...
