So… This wedding was a true fairytale. Not even joking. And therefore the choice of music. It’s just right.
But let’s start from the beginning.
In the end of July I got an email. It basically said ”We know this is a long shot, but we’re getting married on Wednesday next week and our videographer can’t make it. Is there any way you can?”. And well, let’s be honest, the timing was not the best. I was leaving for vacation in Germany the day after and I had just been away doing three weddings in one week. But of course I wanted to help them. So I said yes. And not until the day before the wedding everything was settled and I was so happy to go to film a wedding at the fantastic Norrvikens Trädgårdar again. This place is made for weddings, I can tell you that.
On the wedding day I sat in my car and drove the two hours from my home to Båstad and the rain was pouring down the entire time. ”This will be interesting” I thought. But the second I sat my foot down at the long walkway up to Norrvikens the sun came through the clouds and the rest of the day was sunny, warm and fantastic.
Never could I have imagined that this couple that I booked only the day before and I would get along so well. As you will see in the film, Caroline is the kind of person that smiles with her whole essence. She is just pure joy. Absolutely fantastic. So it’s easy to understand Joakims reaction when he sees Caroline on their first look. He cried and so did I.
Oh, did I mention crying? Ahh. Well. Wait ’til you see the groomsmen in church. My God. I get teared up just by thinking about it.
Anyway. The only bad thing about this wedding is that I only was there for seven hours. I wish I could have covered the whole day of this fantastic wedding. The couple, the friends, the families. The music. It was all just a dream come true. And a happily ever after.
Enjoy watching.
