Jelena and Nicola, just wow. These two people know how to have a good time.
Seriously. This wedding was fun from the first moment to the last one. In Sweden, where I’m from, weddings are often traditional – sometimes with a little twist – but still traditional. Well, maybe this wedding was traditional Italian style, but it was completely new to me.
I loved how the band started playing directly after the first course – people were dancing, tossing the bride and groom in the air, how the basilica was beyond every other church in Sweden, how 1/3 of the wedding stopped at a gas station on the way from the ceremony to the reception to dance and have a drink. Party. Having fun. That’s kinda my favorite part about weddings.
And to top that with the greatest dessert buffé I have ever seen and people jumping in the pool with their clothes on at 3 in the morning, well, that I love.
Lena and Nico – I love how you love life and each other. How you make sure to laugh and have fun through it all. Cause really, that’s all that matters.
Wedding location: San Nicola Basilica – Bari, Italy.

Music: The ground after a summer rain 3 – Sebastian Forslund and Losing by default – Andreas Jamsheree.
